The Apple Police and The Wisdom of Gerry Rafferty

"I heard her speak but all the words were dead
We talked all night and left it all unsaid
So we agree to disagree
At least we’ve got our memory"

-Gerry Rafferty, "Whatever's Written In Your Heart," currently what I'm listening to on my new motherfucking BLACK 60G iPod Video.

Apple now has a profanity filter on the webpage where you choose the engraving for the back of your iPod. Apparently the 6-year-old kids at the Chinese sweatshops where these things are assembled were getting really offended in-between the vicious beatings and subsistencee-level "meals" of rice mush mixed with pig-shit. Pussies.

So Gayle, you now have one of only 2 "Motherfucking Dan Certa" iPods inexistencee. Take care of it until the Smithsonian comes for it.

In lieu of an actual engraved iPod, here's some examples of What Might Have Been:

"Maybe I’ve always set my sights too high
You take the easy way and still get by
I know there ain’t no special way
We all get there anyway"

-Gerry Rafferty, "Whatever's Written In Your Heart"

Woot.
